Crystal Clear Pool Company was started in 1972 by
Joseph Casna Jr. as an above-ground pool installation and service
company on the south shore. Gradual expansion continued through 1974
when Crystal started building vinyl lined in ground pool kits as well.
The company, incorporated April 1, 1976 under the
name of Crystal Construction Corp., immediately obtained a license to
operate Crystal Clear Pool Company as a subsidiary.
In 1980 Crystal Clear Pool Company opened its
first store at the foot of the fore River Bridge in Quincy. Featuring
a full line of pool chemicals, parts and accessories, this store also
greatly increased pool sales because of its excellent exposure at this
convenient location. in
1986 land was purchased in Kingston and the company proceeded to build
what has become known as the nicest pool center on the south shore.
Our Kingston store features a full-sized display pool and all the
latest pool accessories from automatic cleaners to safety covers. This
facility also houses our offices on the second floor.
Our general construction garage and equipment
area is located behind our Kingston office. It is from here that all
crews are equipped and dispatched. Radio contact with our trucks has
enabled us to offer prompt service. Our service department is fully
equipped and professionally staffed. We also still offer "above-ground
pools completely installed", which was or original success.
Crystal Construction Corporation was diversified
to solidify its position and offer employees year-round employment,
thus enabling us to keep our experienced people. Our equipment
purchases and site work services has also served to familiarized our
employees with on-site septic systems, water services, wells, drainage
and grading - all of which are relative to professional pool
construction. Our 1987
acquisition of Aqualine insures all our customers of a source of
purified water for their pools and as Aqualine grows, we are already
filling pools for other pool companies as well.
Heading in the millennium, the company is well
staffed, diversified and extremely well equipped. Our goals for the
future include the expansion of our Aqualine division and the overall
improvement of our pool service department.
Our pool, known for its structural integrity and
simplicity of operation, will continue to be our number one pool. This
year's addition of the Fox X-brace system is most impressive and their
above-ground octagonal pool is really going to take off. This is by
far the best looking above-ground pool we have seen.
Our growth potential in all areas is unlimited,
especially considering since our beginning, we have seen many pool
companies come and go. The pool business, in general, is an extremely
difficult one in that it is seasonal and all service has to be
performed on site. With our solid background, I am confident that we
will continue to grow with your support.
